Just as you might have been informed already, we also assist those migrating to Canada or USA using the 3-in-1 Comprehensive blueprint (Study Route, Job/Work Route and Express Entry Route)

For the study route, which we are going to address on this post, your highest academic qualification to a great extent, determines the program you should be going in for, after which your study visa process begins after being admitted to a DLI in Canada, and offered your LOA.

kindly note that DLI stands for Designated Learning Institution which are schools licensed to admit international students in Canada.

Please Note of the Instruction below to applies to your HIGHEST ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:

– SHS, NVTI or any secondary level qualification:

You should go for a Vocational School, a PSW program, an ordinary diploma because they are very affordable.

You can also go for a Bachelor’s degree program but the challenge with that is there’s hardly any full funded scholarships available for that, and it’s mostly expensive.

However, if you can afford it for yourself or Kid(s), that’s fine you should go for it.

The price can only be reduced after you’ve become a permanent resident in Canada which is also attainable.

– Diploma, HND, 2-3 year Post secondary certificate programs, Pass and 3rd Class Degree holders:

For those with the aforementioned qualifications, as their highest educational level, you should go for a graduate certificate program or another diploma or postgraduate diploma first before going for a Masters program (if you wish to proceed).
For Pass & Third Class degree graduates, HND (and its’ equivalents) holders, you should go for a PGD, after which you may decide to go for your Masters. You may also go for a PSW.

The program you will eventually go for has to be subject to WES Evaluation or by the admission office of the school.

This also has to be preferably in a Canadian College and not a University.

With a HND you can go directly for Masters in the USA, and there are funding opportunities. It’s also possible to go for a Masters program in Canada even with your 3rd Class degree.

– Second Class Lower graduates:

In the case where you graduated with a second class lower, you may have to go for a postgraduate certificate program, in a Canadian college, before proceeding for your Masters.
Kindly note that there are also universities that accept students with low CGPAs for Masters, we have well listed them on our premium group.

– PGD, Second Class Upper, First Class and Medical School graduates:

If the above fits your highest academic qualification, you should apply directly for a Masters, there are more funding opportunities especially when it’s research based.

– Masters Degree Holders:

As a Masters degree holder, you can easily proceed for your PhD or a Research based Masters degree program. Also, you’ll be able to apply and obtain full funding in any University (DLI) of your choice in Canada through your prospective supervisor.
You can also go for a PGD as well due to a Career Change possibly.

– Doctorate Degree Holders:

As a Doctorate Degree holder, you can go for a Post doc program, a second PhD or Masters. If you are going for an entirely different field, you can go for a PGD (post-graduate diploma) as well.
For a research/ thesis based program, you can secure full funding from your prospective supervisor in the University (DLI) of your choice.

Take Note Everyone!

Kindly note that the purpose of the program you are going for has to be well justified on your Statement of Purpose in a way that shows Career or Academic progression.

For degree holders and PGD graduates, going for a Masters program, Kindly note that course based masters programs are usually not for full funding. Full funded scholarships are mainly for research based masters programs.

There are also full funding opportunities for those going for Doctorate degree and Postdoc fellowship.

For others that don’t haven’t obtained a degree with a good GPA, there are low tuition schools that do give out great scholarships to International students despite the program you are going for. You can also obtain student loans and financial aid.

Your transcript may have to be subject to WES Evaluation or by the school you applying to as well.

Irrespective of the program you are going for, as an international student 1 year PG program gives you 1 year Postgraduate Work Permit (PGWP). 2 years PG program gives you 3 years PGWP, which is enough for you to apply and gain Permanent Residency (PR).

You can also migrate with your Family as dependents and Work for 20 hours per week in Canada via the study route, till you graduate and become able to work full time.
Your spouse can work full time with the open work permit after joining you as a dependent.

You can also take advantage of any pilot program, to obtain permanent residence even while on student status.
