Hi, this Tim of Move2Canada.ca (M2C Consult)

Canada Express Entry is a system used by the Canadian government to manage applications for permanent residence from skilled workers. It is an online system that allows candidates to create profiles detailing their skills, work experience, education, language ability, and other relevant factors.

Candidates are then given a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score based on these factors. Periodically, the Canadian government conducts draws from the pool of candidates, inviting those with the highest CRS scores to apply for permanent residence.

Express Entry is used for three federal economic immigration programs:

1. Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)

2. Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)

3. Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) also use the Express Entry system to nominate candidates for permanent residence in specific provinces.
